Surfers

I've been hanging with surfers a little bit lately, not trying to move away from the bodyboarding scene but just more building my portfolio and networking. Had Tassie big wave surfer Marti Paradisis come hang for the last big south swell we had. Could have been glory days at a crazy slab that no one surfs, unfortunately the waves didn't want to cooperate! He got one half hearted ride before jumping on a plane home. 

Other projects

Things have been a little slow in the wave department lately..So i've been trying to work on other projects as i have photo quotas to fill for marine parks. Been taking my boat out this week trying to tap into the nature photography both above and under the water

GOLF

Played the best game of golf i've ever played at my local course today shot 2 over par for 9holes.. This clip is one of my drives on a par four 338m hole with wind behind me, i was so excited i missed the less than 1m eagle put... devo!

Chick: wow no haven't seen him at all. Is he wearing a raccoon on his head.

Ian: "no thats his normally hair".. "Oh don't worry i found him he is right there" (point 2meters away to dancing dicko) 

Chicks reaction is price less as she gets the hell out of there sooner than gastro creeps on in bali

Spent a few days lasts week lurking in the steel city. Big Dav from i am none and myself sat down and sketched out and neat plan for my up and coming website which will hopefully be launched sometime next week! all the fun part (graphics etc) is complete so now its just the boring coding and concocting so stay tuned....

Just spent the past 2 days bobbing about the ocean on a jet ski. For those that have spent prolonged periods of time on one of these dirt bikes of the ocean you'll no the feeling of a sore backside and the crazy cramps in the groin region from your muscle becoming fatigued from being bounced about in the freezing cold! 

Placing that aside,  Joe Clark, Ash and Tom Willson made the voyage down from QLD joined with Jase Finlay, Korrey Smith, Matt Young and Michael Chapple whom have all helped in filling my memory cards with over 800 images in the past two days, obviously i can't reveal too at this stage but stay tuned in near future

The Good Meeting

A blizzard of bodyboarders stormed Bondi Junctions Eastern Hotel on the weekend as Jose Marquina and Asha Dolman held their annual shin dig! most of your usual peeps turned up for the fashion parade! The night was filled with dancing and smiles as Busy T regulated the decks with some unbeatable daft punk beats. 

I Wouldn't Normally WIN Fame

Russell Quinn, Adam Quinn and Shawn Mc Cauley are the boys behind tomorrow nights local Bodyboard premier at Huskisson Cinema. After a big fortnight of media promotion, making the pages of the South Coast Register and a cool minute or so of air time on WIN news. Huskisson won't know what hit it tomorrow night as the sell out crowed are flocking to see the flick. If you haven't purchased a ticket by now then there is a good chance your going to be out of luck or you better hurry up. Rumor has it that there are already tickets on ebay selling for in excess of 80 bucks each.
